Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • You work closely with the Managing Director and support on strategic, business development and go-to-market topics
  • You might be requested to work as an account manager and support to the partnership manager
  • You influence key decisions through market, product and sales analyses and are a thought leader in all aspects of the business
  • You identify and pursue leads for sponsorship and partner opportunities
  • You Develop and implement a sales strategy focused on events and the media platform
  • You prepare and participate in sales meetings with partners both remotely as well as in personal meetings
  • You assist in preparing analyses and documents as a basis for operational processes and decisions
  • You prepare PowerPoint Presentations for internal and external meetings
  • You develop and independently work on your own projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • You contribute to the overall success and assist your colleagues in carrying out successful projects

Your Profile:

  • You are currently enrolled in a master’s or bachelor’s degree at a leading business school and have above-average performance in your studies
  • You have first work experience in sales, business development, consulting or a similar field, ideally in another startup environment (personal network in data science industry is a plus)
  • You stand out as highly motivated and driven to launch a successful career in a demanding environment
  • Previous experience in a tech startup, consulting or entrepreneurship is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and German, other languages are a plus (French, Dutch)
  • The ability to legally work in Germany
  • Pro-active and result-oriented working style
  • You are an out-of-the-box thinker and use your strong analytical skills to solve problems
  • You are available for at least 5 months
  • You are a self starter and team player

What sets you apart from the rest:

  • Interest and previous experience in media, events, working/leading a big conference is a plus
  • Interest in working in a business oriented/ sales role
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, can-do attitude and a go-getter
  • An interest in media, data science and some technical knowledge
